Avila and Toledo

We returned today via the walled city of Avila where we had morning tea of hot chocolate and churros. The walls of this town are incredibly well preserved.

Then it was on to Toledo, where we had a rather arduous walk. Toledo is  really high but there are escalators to the top.  But there was still quite a long walk to the town square where we had lunch. After that it was time for a walk around the city which was rather hilly.

After that it was to a church that used to be a mosque and to the Jewish quarter for a visit to a synagogue. Then we walked through to the bridge and over it to where the bus was waiting.
