Salamanca

This is a small city, with a lovely medieval centre. We are only here overnight so just took the short walk into the town square, had a look at the cathedral and picked one of the many pavement cafes to have dinner.  The speciality of the area is sucking pig - which I had - it was delicious and the crackling was so good.

By the time we returned to the hotel it was already ten o'clock.
