Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree - on in this case - the washing line.

My favourite bird in Australia has to be the Kookaburra.  They are so pretty and always look so pleasant.  I spotted this one on our washing line - he was a really big bird.  They are never scared of people.  This one seemed to be on his/her own, which is unusual as normally they are seen in pairs.
