We flew out of Palermo today and are now in Rome, just for three nights. The hotel we are in is the same one we were on our first visit here - not surprising really, as we still use the same travel agent. It is just a few minutes away from the Trevi Fountain, a favourite tourist spot. We walked down to look at that and then walked to the Spanish Steps, another big tourist spot.
On the way there we stopped to have an early dinner as we were getting near that time anyway - being about 6 pm. Unlike in Palermo where nothing much opened before 8 pm for dinner, Rome appears to be open all day.
