Venice

We have just had several days in Venice.  This being our third visit here we knew exactly what we wanted to do and we have done all of them.  First off we had a walk to the first bridge on the Grand Canal, the Accademia Bridge, so called because it is next to the Galleria dell'Accademia which we decided to have a look at.  It was really great, a beautiful building plus hundreds of lovely old paintings.

The next day we walked to the old Jewish Ghetto area as we had not seen that before - got lost several times, crossing many bridges while we did so.

Today we had spent the morning going through the Doges Palace.  We have been in that before but wanted to do that again.  After that we walked to the Arsenale end of the island and found that really enjoyable as there were not many tourists down that end.  There is a nice park there and we had good view over to the Lido.

Tomorrow we leave for Milan.
