About ten days ago I picked our lavender. It is getting a bit woody now so I think this bush can come out and we can put some new ones in. Might wait until the weather cools off a bit though.The stalks have been drying in the study, which smells really nice now. I decided today that it was dry enough so stripped the stalks and bagged up the lavender. It produced just four bags which I have put into the hall - so that can smell nice too.

Very pretty! I can almost smell it.
and it lasts for ages. Last years in now relegated to the linen cupboard! It just need a pummel and the scent comes back.
