Kangaroo Island

Wednesday 4th March
Last night we stayed at Kangaroo Island Wilderness Lodge which is past Seal Bay. Wallabies hang around the grounds of an evening wanting to be fed, and even though it is not usually allowed, these wallabies seemed to be more or less tame.
Today we saw The Remarkables - which really are remarkable - and Admirals Arch. The rain started as we were leaving The Remarkables and continued on and off at the Arch. It was very blustery the whole time and we thought we might get blown away at either place, but survived. Both of these features are in the Flinders Chase National Park. The park has a really good visitor centre with a lot of displays and information and best of all, a really nice café where we had lunch. Tonight we are back in American River.
