Second day in the mountains. Yesterday we had a walk in the nearby village after settling into the house. The weather seemed quite cold but the we ar over 1000 metres high here. Gerard lit the wood burning stove and the house soon watched up.
Today we took it easy in the morning then went over to a very interesting medieval vllage. A few people were still living in it. After that we went to an Abby - Notre Dame des Neige. This whole area is still busy with walkers . The attraction is the walk that Robert Louis Stevenson dad and wrote about, Travels with a donkey in the Cévennes , which he wrote in 1879. Many people replicate the walking, staying at 5he Abby as he did.
