Today we did a lot. Started off with Brian taking me to pick up the hire car in Colchester. I only got lost once driving myself back - found the A12 but going the wrong way....
Then we went into Manningtree as it was Mary’s turn to do the flowers for the church. She did a very good job and they looked really nice.
Back home we walked around the allotment which has been suffering due to the extreme heat this summer. Following that we had a drive out to Shotley and a walk along the bank of the Stour. Our side of the river is the marina, the other side the docks.
Then out again for dinner at the Wooden Fender in Ardleigh - very nice meal and we were all happy with our choices. Waddled back to the car and home for coffee and bed.
