The flight over was straight forward and I booked into the hotel in Nice mid Saturday afternoon. Sunday morning I took the train to Avignon, changing for the train to Montelimar. Arrived there mid afternonn. Gerard was waiting for me and we went up to the residences to see if Nik was about. He was, as was Clo. The last holiday rentals had just left and the students were expected to arrive from tomorrow onwards so they were both working at turning the holiday rentals back into student accommodation.
The weather is great and we spent time in the garden chatting and generally catching up.
