Trip to Arthurs Seat

Monday 14th May I went with MDLC on an outing to Arthurs Seat, which is high over the bay at Dromana.  The bus was courtesy of Knox Council and in all there were about thirty people.  The weather was very good, cool but very sunny so we had good views from the top.

The Eagle replaced the old chair lift that was here for some years which took people down from the top to the bottom.  The gondolas are a huge improvement on the old chairlift.  We all had a ride down, which takes about fifteen minutes and some stayed on for the ride up, but Judy and I, with several others got off at the bottom.  And then we got on again for the ride up.

After we had all come back to the top the bus took us the short distance to Seawinds Gardens where we walked along to the lookout for views across the bay.  Then it was lunch at the Rosebud Pub and home.
