Belfast

Our port today was Belfast. We had picked a tour taking in the city and the Titanic Exhibition.  First stop was the Titanic Exhibition which was excellent.  

The building housing it is four stories high and built to look like a ship. It touches on all aspects of the Titanic but a bit more information on the actual building of the ship. At the start there is a really good ride giving one the feeling of what it is like to build such a huge ship. 

Belfast is a nice city, not too big with wide streets and parks.  We were driven along the notorious wall separating the Catholic and Protestant areas. It all looks pretty peaceful now. 

The weather today was the best we have had since leaving Amsterdam. Unfortunately it will not stay this way. We have just been informed by the captain that tomorrow we will be in Killybegs as planned, but then we will retrace our route and go clockwise around Ireland in order to miss bad weather again.
