Suffolk

Yesterday we moved out of the Pat and Andy's apartment to spend the night in the motel across the road.  It was't that we had outstayed our welcome but that the room was booked by someone else. Because of the problem with Robin and the fact that we stayed two extra nights in the area. 

In the move we found a real problem with the hire car - it has an inadequate boot!  I put my case in and could see that there was no way that Robin's larger case would fit in next to it.  What to do?  Andy drove us to a sort of $2 Shop and I got two large laundry bags.  All Robin's stuff fitted in quite easily and then they squashed  into the available space in the boot.  We will pick up the case again before we fly out.

This morning we drove over to Margy and Brian's at St Lawrence for lunch.  After leaving them drove to Colchester and are now in the Holiday Inn off the A12.  I had a bit of a walk around and there are lots of signs that Spring is in the air.
