Sunday was Mothers Day and Kate and Trent surprised me by popping in with flowers. They had breakfast with Campbell early and we got talking about pancakes. Apparently the pancakes he had were a bit thick, not like crepes. That made us remember our old crepe maker, from the 1970's.
I still had it, in its box, in the cupboard. I looked for the recipe book and instructions that came with it, thinking it should be still with the cookery books but couldn't find it so we just winged it.
Kate whipped up some batter and after a few tentative tries (and reading of the said instructions which Trent had found in the box - who put it there?), Katy was using it as we remembered from before. It still works just fine.

| Dip it in and.... |
Hey presto - a very thin crepe.
