This morning the new carving of the swagman in the gully was formally unveiled by the mayor of Knox. Quite a few people turned up for the event.
The carving is really named 'Down on his luck'. This is the second carving as the first, which was done from the trunk of the old pine tree that was here, had termites. This one will probably last a lot longer.
