Today is the first day we have not been travelling. Robin and I left Melbourne on Tuesday night got to Rome the day before yesterday late afternoon. Then yesterday we took a flight to Catania to start our holiday in Sicily. We had a walk in the afternoon just to suss the place out. Today we woke up refreshed and ready to go.
The weather is great, just perfect. Catania is a much larger place than I expected and pretty crowded. We did the walk suggested in the guide book plus some. Today is a holiday here ( not ANZAC day) and we came across a march of sorts - not sure what they were protesting about but it was peaceful.
