Our house is built on an area that was first farmed in the 1840's and over the years part of the land has been sold off for development. Where we are is about 300 metres from the homestead built in the 1890's and I have only been in it once - even though we have lived here for nearly 40 years.
It is only open on a Sunday so today, I got round there and had a look! Quite interesting looking through the old house. It has a room devoted to school photos and I found those from Ferntree Gully North
