Istanbul - second day

We had a full day in the city today.  First we went to the Blue Mosque which is very popular and we queued for quite a while before going in.  Really lovely inside.
The area of prayer is kept clear which is a good idea as it is possible to
see the mosque properly - there were hundreds of people behind me...
After that we saw the Hagia Sophia and then onto the Topkapi Palace.  Then it was a turkish style lunch - dessert was a mystery, but tasted just fine. We finished the afternoon off with a carpet demo and a visit to the Grand Bazaar - the world's first shopping centre. It is huge!
