Pruning of the Sydney Bluegum

The big gum in our back garden was getting a bit shaggy so we had the tree doctor out.  I was concerned about a couple of the branches in particular but he assured me they were very sound.  He got right up in the tree and cut out a lot of dead wood and generally opened up the tree.  Our garden was full of branches which his offsider had picked up and into the mulcher in next to no time.

The family room seems a bit lighter now so it was good that we had him out.  He gave the tree a clean bill of health and suggested we maybe consider calling him in about three years to give it another trim.
