A week or so ago I walked along the roads further up the hill to us as I was delivering Ferntree Gully newsletters, just something I help out with every three months. From the highest road there was a great view of the city, completely clear of clutter etc. So today I went back up there with the 450D to see if I could capture the image. Didn't come out too bad - Kate and I spent ages trying to see our house/road but that proved to be impossible as there are far to many trees.
The group of white building to the left is Knox City, our local shopping centre and on the horizon is Melbourne, of course. We are about 30 kilometres out from the city.
