This weekend has been really great weather wise. Today especially was warm and very sunny. Robin got the ladder out to clean up the gutters as the Paperbark Tree in the front is making a real mess of the roof. We (me really) planted it too close to the house! It was meant to shield the ferns from the sun and it certainly does that. All our trees have a habit of growing much taller than we think they are going to grow. Check out the Sydney Blue Gum, which is huge.
The bushes are in blossom too, we have a lovely Grevillea, and the Bottlebrush is such a beautiful colour.
Summer is definitely on the way.

Wow you take such beutiful photos and you seem to have such a beautiful yard as well. It will be nice to have a garden one day, we will see if I'm any good at planting anything. It's funny to hear you excited about nice summer weather, and here I am sick of the heat and can't wait for fall!
