We have just had a nice surprise visit. A car we did not recognise drove into the drive and at first we thought it was someone turning around. But the a tall young man got out and so did his passenger. It was Stephan, the youngest son of our friend and neighbour Pam who had moved to Queensland some years ago now. We still keep in touch with Pam and do keep saying we will visit - Pam, we will visit this year, I promise!
It was lovely to see Stephen and his young wife, Rachel. With them was Pam's mother. They were in Melbourne for a visit and were on their way to dinner but took the trouble to pop in and say hello to us, which was lovely of them. For those who remember the little boy next door, here are some photos.
