The drive from Barstow to Salt Lake City was very easy on a good road. Going past Las Vegas was a bit hairy as the the road around there changed from a three lane highway to a city freeway type with exits going everywhere. Once through that all was good.
It is bright and sunny here on the mountain with patches of snow on the ground. The view from Geoff and Jills house is really nice. We met up with little Sawyer. This morning Megan brought him in dressed in his Halloween costume - as a chook. Very cute. Jill is trying to plan an early halloween with all the family while we are still here so that should be a lot of fun.
