Jenny and I visited our first garden of the year which was the Blue Water Lotus Garden. This is up in hills at Yarra Junction and we picked a good day to go - it was warm, but it was also raining so there were not many people there. Jenny had and umbrella in her car, and luckily umbrellas were provided anyway so we did not get at all wet - apart from Jenny who I inadvertently showered with water after brushing past some overhanging shrubbery with my umbrella! Sorry Jen...

In all the gardens cover 14 acres, so there are hundreds of lotus plants.

The garden is very well set up with good paths around the large ponds, and plenty of shelter.

The largest pond has a walk way right across the middle.
