Where did September go?

I am convinced that time is going faster as I get older!  This last month has just flown by.  It has been a bit of a cultural month - several visits to the Art Gallery in Melbourne, one visit to the Art Gallery in Bendigo, and then a visit to Science Works with Kate, Lisa and kids.

The Gallery Foyer is decorated with coloured polar bears at the moment in all sorts of actions.

The following week I took a trip over to Bendigo with friends for a visit to the Art Gallery there.  It had an exhibition of underwear on - sounds strange but was very interesting.  The second exhibition there was called the Body Beautiful and consisted of Greek statues from the British Museum.  The star of that show was the Discus Thrower.

Next trip to the city was to visit the NGV again and afternoon tea in the old city square.  There was some sort of peace rally on and Judy could not resist adding a message to one of the olive trees provided.

Science works was next and the kids had a good time in the Science Fiction area, trying everything out. The space station was a big hit - we all felt that we were moving, instead of the walls around us.

The rescue exhibit was pretty popular too, with our 16 year old going into the ball pit  with Campbell and Ryan.

Lunch was sitting in the amphitheatre provided for schools.  Lucky it was the school holidays.
