Seniors Week

Just gone is Seniors Week, when those of mature age get the opportunity to do stuff for free or at a reduced price.  This is an annual event and up to now, I have not done much - didn't feel old enough maybe.  But this year I am feeling my age.

Together with a group of friends I had a look through the Johnson Collection.  This was an exhibit of stuff from the British Raj period in India.  The following weekend we all had a ride on the City Circle Tram down to Harbour Town and then took a ferry (free and along with a lot of other oldies!) over the Yarra to have a look at the new Dockland Library - really nice library, long way to come though.
On the way over we saw the Dragon Boats practising.

This weekend we took ourselves out for lunch at Yarra Glen and then to the Yarra Glen Chocolaterie and made pigs of ourselves on ice cream...

These were the smallest ice cream available!

You look as though you had a thoroughly good time! It's also a nice way to keep up with the girls and have some quality time...........for ice cream and such!
