We took in the usual sights here today - the telegraph station, Anzac Hill, Flying Doctor and stood with one foot in the tropics and the other in the temperate zone at the line of Capricorn.
The old telegraph station is interesting. Without the telegraph repeater station Alice Springs might never have been created.
The Todd River is pretty dry but this water hole proves there is water here.
