I had to go into the city today so I went a bit earlier and walked through the city to see Myers window decorations and other areas that had decorations up. Plan was to get some presents too, but I only got one!
I think the Royal Arcade was the nicest as it had a feeling of Christmas about it. The tiny games shop in the arcade was packed - lots of ideas in there for presents.
The old city square has the usual large tree and this year they had a sort of area where elves were manning a small maze and entertaining the children. Overall Melbourne has made a big effort for Christmas and it is very lively.
