Just had two lovely days in Suffolk. Yesterday Brian took me to Ipswich, a new town to me. Saw some nice Gainsborough and Constable paintings. In the morning I had been along to Flatford Mill to see the original of the Constable painting.
Today we went to Felixstowe and had lunch at a riverside pub where I had a great dish full of mussels.... Just delicious!
Felixstowe itself looks just like the seaside places of old - complete with pier and amusements. Thanks for a fantastic couple of days Mary and Brian.
