We had some really freak weather this weekend - almost a months rain in a few hours with hailstones the size of small marbles with a few biggies thrown in. All of our cars are covered in dents but that is ok, at least the windows held. Our neighbours had a few windows smashed and we had several large holes in the kitchen skylight. Compared to others in Melbourne we have got off lightly. In some areas they had hailstone the size of golf balls!
Andrew kindly came down from Maryborough with a friend and put a tarp over the skylight so that will be ok until we can get it replaced. I am guessing it will not be done for a few days as there has been so much damage in some areas.
