Bike track after the deluge

This morning I went along the bike track for the first time since the torrential rain we had two weeks ago.  The track goes along a creek which is barreled so it does not have water in it usually but it can, if there is enough rain. Going along it today I could see evidence of just how high the water got that day.  It would have been quite a sight - especially at the end of the retarding basin where there is a collar of debris around it.
The birds are back too - apart from the usual Straw necked Ibis I spotted these two Heron's - don't usually see these around here.
