It must be tree removal time! At the back of us there are three old pines, one of which was removed today. I was out most of the day and came home just in time to see a large bit of crown being dropped. There used to be a whole line of these pines in the blocks behind us but most have been removed over the years, leaving jsut these three which are behind our neighbours house.
An hour later, the trunk was dropped, with quite a thud, so now there are just two left. Wonder when they will be removed? Maybe tomorrow if we are lucky.
We have been vaguely thinking of some sort of shade over the terrace but with this tree gone we might have to do something pronto as that tree provided quite some shade.
