Today was Nell's 90th birthday. She had phone calls from many people during the morning to wish her many happy returns of the day. Lunch was very nice, there were 16 people in all so that was quite a crowd. Shirley and Jack came down from Bedford too. Then in in evening friends and neighbours came around and we had a bit of a party and a birthday cake. Nell was a bit overcome then.
