Yesterday I went into the City to see the Art Deco exhibits at the Gallery in St Kilda Road. Robin tagged along too though it is not really his thing. As we crossed the river the sun was shining directly on 'The Travellers' on the old Sandridge Bridge. I have never seen them sparkle so.
The exhibition was very good. It gave the history of Art Deco, its beginnings in France and how it spread world wide. Some of the exhibits were very large - doors of hotels for instance.
