Choir of Hard Knocks

Jenny and family gave Robin and I tickets for a twilight at the zoo featuring the Choir of Hard Knocks. They also had tickets and last night was the night. Jen took the kids earlier to join friends at the Zoo and then we went in later. It was a pretty hot day, high 30's so we decided not to go too early.
Michael kindly picked us up and took us in. When we arrived Jenny and the kids had already claimed a patch for us all to sit. While waiting for the choir we went off to see the elephants as Robin stayed to secure our area. It was very easy to spot him, we just looked for the red cap he had purchased. It is not often he manages to get one that fits and this one fitted really well.
It was a great evening. There were around 3,000 people there so it was well patronised. The choir was on from 6:30 to just after 9. At the intermission we wandered over to the lions who seemed to be settling down for the night.
After the show we all drove over to Chadstone to meet up with Kate for a late dinner at the Pancake Parlour.
