This is our third day in Las Vegas and we have not won anything yet. But then we have not bet anything yet so I guess it is to be expected. We arrived here on Thursday via Valley of Fire National park which was very beautiful. It was really worth making a detour to the park on the way down here.
Las Vegas is a very interesting town. The casino's are just amazing. Robin and I had a long walk down The Strip from our hotel, Circus Circus to the Luxor - miles... We took a monorail back!
Today we had a flight to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and that was really fantastic. The flight took us over Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. We even saw the new walk-way that has been built out over the canyon.
Tonight we plan to check out more of the Vegas lights and we still have tomorrow which will be our last full day here.
