After Adelaide's party we drove to nearby Lake Wendouree. It was amazing - the water has gone and we were able to take a walk to the middle of the lake. The swans have all gone - we did see a noisy flock of cockatoos though. The lake is actually very shallow and it looks just like a paddock now.
